Hi! I’m Erin,
a Chicago-based lifestyle and music photographer.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Milwaukee, I developed my skills in the vastness of the midwest. From the moment I first got my hands on a point-and-shoot, I was hooked on the personal intimacy photography offers – although, I definitely didn’t describe it that way as a tween. The perspective and meditation that photography offers is what consistently brings me back to my camera.
I take a documentary approach to my work, observing human expression and interaction. Capturing subjects in their element, catching moments off-guard, mummifying core memories, it’s what brings me back to my camera – every. single. time. Whether playing on a stage, posing in a studio, or running in a prairie, I use my lens to depict the person behind the eyes, the story behind the photo.
Away from my camera, I work full-time in media strategy, and am currently studying for my CYT-200hr Yoga certification. Creative storytelling is a major part of my life, across all my faceted interests.
